PPI Claims – Advice for Executors

Posted by gowenstevensadmin on Thursday 22nd August 2019

If you believe the deceased may have had PPI since the 1970s, we strongly advise you to check if their estate is entitled to a refund.

The deadline for starting a PPI claim is 29th August 2019, so you don’t have long to act. If you are aware the deceased had a loan, you simply need to write to the institution with the name, address and any known previous addresses of the deceased and enquire if they had PPI. There is no cost to you to make an enquiry with an institution.

If you do not wish to deal with a potential claim yourself, the Solicitors Regulation Authority recommend Moon Beever Solicitors or Crystal Legal, a claims management company who specialise in executor PPI claims.
